I am the Founder of Good Talent a specialist recruitment company that delivers values based hiring for values led business. I have a deep passion for Sustainable Business, articulating the opportunities we face and supporting those organisations forging a path in this space. With over 17 years experience I am an expert in deploying all methodologies used in talent attraction & selection having delivered many successful assignments across a broad portfolio of clients in both the Private & Public sector. 

Starting my career with boutique consultancy, I provided recruitment services to the Sales & Marketing arena progressing to become manager of the London operation. After 5 years I moved industries to the IT software sector selling Microsoft Accounting & Finance software to mid-sized corporates before moving back into the talent space with offline and online recruitment advertising market leader TMP/Monster. 

From here I took the opportunity as Managing Consultant to set up a brand new business unit with the leading professional services firm Tribal, integrating technology with traditional consulting to deliver a full life-cycle portfolio of recruitment services to the Public Sector across all functions. Prior to starting Good Talent I was, Manager - Recruiter Relationships, at Warwick Business School for 3 years. I provided Recruitment, Talent Management & Talent Attraction solutions to corporate recruiters and career coaching services to MBA, MSc and school Alumni. I have a BA Hons in Philosophy from University College London, an MBA from Aston Business School and am a BPS qualified assessor.

Peter is a board and executive coach who specialises in coaching leaders through transitions. 

He coaches senior leaders including CEOs across a range of sectors and is known by his clients as bringing a shift in mindset to meet the complex people based problems of onboarding to new positions and of leading organisations engaged in change. He specialises in facilitating leaders to become consciously agile in their leadership repertoire and helping to strategically reconfigure core strengths to create new success strategies. 

He has 12 years executive education lecturing experience with Cranfield School of Management (FT Ranked No 8 World & No 1 UK 2013 for Customised Executive Education) and has designed and delivered talent development programmes with RBS, Barclays Corporate, Mott MacDonald and the UN, etc. in addition to teaching over 6,000 international MBAs. He has worked with global fortune 500 companies and has a background in management consultancy to FTSE 100 companies with financial insurance & petrochemical sector backgrounds. 

Peter is passionate about assisting people to develop their leadership skills and make effective transitions on a personal, career and organisational basis. Previously as Director of the Career Development Service at Cranfield School of Management he turned the Careers dept around reaching 7th in the World for placement success (Economist, 2007/8) with a world class consistent track record of 97% of MBAs attaining work within three months of graduation. He is an Accredited Executive Coach (APECS), Registered Coaching Psychologist (BPS), Chartered Psychologist and Registered Occupational Psychologist (HCPC) holding an MA Hons. in psychology and MSc organisational psychology. He is also qualified in the MBTI (Steps I & II), OPQ32, WAVE, 16PF5, FIRO–B, HPI, Talent Q Dimensions, viaEDGE, Me2 & numerous 360° feedback and EQ tools. He has also been: the Joint Chair of the Association of Career Professionals International ACPi UK; Executive Member of Career Professional Alliance (reporting to the UK Government) and is a Founding Director of the Career Development Institute. 

Peter is a full member of: the Institute of Directors; Division of Occupational Psychologists, European Mentoring & Coaching Council, a founding member of the Association of Business Psychologists, and a Founder Member of the BPS Coaching Group. He is a Legacy Fellow of the Career Development Institute and Associate Fellow of the British Psychological Society. And an Accredited Executive Coach with the Association of Professional Executive Coaches & Supervisors. Finally, he is an accredited Coaching Psychologist with the British Psychological Societies Division of Occupational Psychologists.
